Jim Harris

Jim Harris is thrilled to make his first appearance at Mockingbird on Main as Bill Neilson. He was last seen as Sven Ivorsen in the 2022 production of “Here Lies Jeremy Troy” at Richmond Hill Players. Jim was born and raised in New York City and moved to the Quad Cities almost five years ago to be closer to his daughter and her family. When living in New York he regularly appeared at Elmwood Playhouse in Nyack NY in a wide variety or roles. Prior to that he worked on many off-off Broadway shows and at the Public Theater in New York City in the 1970’s and 80’s. In 2021 he was seen as fire captain Nick at The Black Box Theater’s production of “The Guys.” The show was to commemorate and pay homage to the firemen and first responders who lost their lives on 9/11, on the twentieth anniversary of that deadly attack. Jim wants to thank the cast and especially Bradley for writing this impassioned play and for casting him in this role. Thanks, and love, always to Betho!
