Rachelle (Shelley) Walljasper

Shelley has been involved in Quad City theatre for the last 45 years. Most recent roles are Shirley in
Disaster and Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast at Circa 21 in Rock Island.
Shelley is excited to do another project produced by Tristan Tapscott. He has offered opportunities for
some amazing roles that challenge her as an actor. Past productions with Tristan include Sweeney Todd
at Harrison Hilltop, where she got to play Mrs. Lovett with her favorite acting partner, husband Tom, as
Sweeney. At The District Theater she played the Stage Manager in Our Town and ensemble in Jesus
Christ Superstar (a personal favorite show). And now Miss Daisy at Mockingbird on Main. Thank you to
Tristan and Jeremy for their faith in her abilities. She is grateful to share such a beautiful story of
friendship with you all.
